RRB ALP 2024 Age Limit (Revised)
As per the Ministry of Railways the Railway Recruitment Board of India has revised the age limit for RRB ALP in 2024. It has been agreed to grant an age relaxation of three years for the upper prescribed limit to bring relief to those candidates who have an upper age limit and who were unable to participate in the railway recruitment process because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Hence the the age limit for applying RRB ALP 2024 is 18 years to 33 years.
1. RRB ALP 2024 Notification
The official notification of RRB ALP was released on 19th January 2024 on the official website of Indian Railway (indianrailways.gov.in). There are 5696 Assistant Loco Pilots posted in 2024 RRB ALP notifications. Interested Students can start applying for the RRB ALP 2024 application form on 20th January 2024 and the last date for online application is 19th February 2024.

2. About RRB ALP 2024 Exam
RRB ALP exam is conducted for shortlisting deserving candidates for the assistant loco pilot post. RRB ALP 2024 online notifications are yet to be released. The selection of Candidates can be done through CBT 1 and CBT 2 exams ( CBAT only for ALP). It is very important to understand the exam pattern before applying for the exam. RRB ALP exams contain two Tire which is given below

5. RRB ALP 2024 Online Application & Fee
Candidates who are applying for the RRB ALP must refer to a full notification before applying for the post. Steps for the online application process for RRB ALP 2024 are given below.
- Visit the official website of RRB.
- Click the official notification of RRB ALP 2024 and read the whole notification.
- A candidate must scan the documents such as a Photograph and Caste certificate.
- After scanning the documents a candidate must fill out the registration form.
- After submitting the registration form a candidate will get a registered Id, and password and OTP will be sent to the registered email and phone number.
- Log in with your credentials and fill out the application form for the RRB ALP examination.
- Pay the application fees.
- Download a copy of the application form for future reference.

6. RRB ALP 2024 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for RRB ALP 2024 depend on the Nationality, age limit and educational qualification of a candidate.
6.1 Age:
The Age requirement for RRB ALP 2024 is a minimum of 18 years and a maximum of 33 years.

6.3 Nationality
A candidate must be either,
- A citizen of India.
- A subject of Bhutan.
- A subject of Nepal.
- The refugee of Tibetan who came to India before 1st Jan 1962
- Person of Indian origin but migrated to Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Burma, east African countries of Kenya, Zambia, Malawi, Uganda, the united republic of Tanzania, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with intention of permanently settling in India.
7. RRB ALP 2024 - Important Dates

8. RRB ALP Selection Procedure
The RRB ALP recruitment notification is going to be released on the official website of RRB. The candidate must create an account before applying for the post. The candidate must fill out the registration form for the online application. RRB ALP 2024 Selection Procedure is based on 5 stages.
Stage 1 – Computer Based Test 1: It contains a total of 75 questions for a 1-hour duration. CBT-1 contains negative markings for each wrong answer. Each wrong answer will result in a deduction of 1/3 mark.
Stage 2 – Computer-Based Test 2 (Part A): It contains 100 questions for 1 hour and 30 minutes duration.CBT-2(Part A) contains negative markings for each wrong answer. Each wrong answer will result in a deduction of 1/3 mark.
Computer-Based Test 2 ( Part B): It contains 75 questions for a 1-hour duration. There will be no negative marking in this stage. It is applicable for all ALP posts. Minimum qualifying marks will be 35%
Stage 3 –Computer-Based Aptitude Test(CBAT): This is only for ALP. A minimum of 42 marks must be required in each test batteries to qualify for the test.
Stage 4- Document verification: The candidates must hold all the documents which are mentioned in the application for document verification States otherwise a candidate can be disqualified.
Stage 5- Medical examination: The Final round will be a Medical fitness test. The shortlisted candidates are called the doe medical exam.
