8. APPSC Group-II Selection Procedure
The APPSC Group-II 2023 selection process contains four stages of selection which are discussed below.
- Preliminary exam: It contains 150 questions for 2 hours and 30 minutes duration. There is a penalty for a wrong answer 1/3 mark is deducted for every wrong answer.
- Mains Exam: It contains three papers and each paper contains 150 questions for a 2 hr 30 minutes duration. The Mains exam also contains negative markings. 1/3 mark is deducted for each wrong answer.
- Computer proficiency test: Basic computer knowledge is tested. The exam is conducted for 30 minutes. Minimum qualifying marks are required to clear the Computer proficiency test. For SC/ST = 15 marks, for B.C’s = 17.5 marks, and for OC /Including ExM and sports quota = 20 marks
- Interview/Document verification: Shortlisted candidates are called for an interview. Candidate must carry all the necessary documents like a caste certificate, educational certificate, or any other if mentioned.
