2. SSC CGL 2023 Exam
Along with SSC CGL Notification 2023, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) updates the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Exam pattern. The exam is conducted in two stages of objective type, Computer based tests.
2.1 SSC CGL 2023 Tier – I
The SSC CGL 2023 Tier-I is a Computer Base Test (CBT) that consists of 4 sections of 100 objective type questions with a total of 200 marks. The time allotted for finishing the exam is 60 minutes. SSC CGL Tier-I is a screening test to filter the excess applicants, so the SSC CGL Tier-I score will not carry any weightage in the final results.

There will be three phases to the SSC CGL Tier-II exam: Paper 1, Paper 2, and Paper 3.

5. SSC CGL 2023 Online Application & Fee
SSC CGL 2023 Notification is released by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) in order to recruit eligible candidates for the post of Assistant Grade-II (AG-II), Junior Intelligence Officer (JIO) and Inspector of income tax, Sub inspector, Inspector, Research assistant etc. Candidates who are interested in applying for these posts can check out the eligibility criteria, educational qualifications & age limit.

8. SSC CGL Selection Procedure
The SSC CGL 2023 Selection Procedure is a three-stage process.
The First Stage: SSC CGL 2023 Tier -I
It is a computer-based test that will be conducted online for all those who are eligible for it and compulsory for all applicants.
The Second Stage: SSC CGL 2023 Tier -II
This stage contains three papers 1,2 and 3. Paper 1 is compulsory for all candidates, while paper 2 & paper 3 are necessary for only a few applicable posts.

12. SSC CGL 2023 Salary Structure
The in hand salary of SSC CGL 2023 may vary according to the pay grade of an employee. Generally the salary range may lie between 25,500 to 1,51,100 including HRA, DA, TA etc. Cities are classified into Cities X, Y, Z based on their population, cost of living, etc.

13. SSC CGL Salary Deduction
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released an updated list of deductions that will be applicable on the salary of the candidates who have been selected for SSC CGL 2023.
The deduction list is divided into three categories – Basic, Special and Miscellaneous. The Basic deduction include: –
– HRA/LTA
– Medical charges
– Pension Contribution to NPS
– ESIC Contribution
– Income Tax and other Deductions as per Income Tax Act, 1961
The Special deductions are:
– TDS on Salary (Applicable if salary is more than Rs. 5 lakhs)

15. SSC CGL Preparation Tips 2023
The entrance examination for the SSC CGL is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC). The exam is conducted on an all-India basis for recruitment to various posts in the lower cadres of clerical grades in central government ministries and departments.

16. SSC CGL 2023 Admit Card & Call Letter
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has yet to release the admit card for SSC CGL 2023. The admit card for the exam will be available on the official website of SSC.

The Admit card of SSC CGL 2023 Tier-I can be downloaded 15 days before the examination from their official website SSC.

Candidates are advised to keep a photocopy of their admit card and other original documents, which they will need at the examination centre, in a secure place separately to avoid any inconvenience in case they lose these documents before or during examination day.

18. SSC CGL Tier-II 2023 Result
