1. LIC ADO 2023 Notification

LIC ADO 2023 notification was released on 21st January 2023. LIC conducts recruitment for Apprentice Development Officers (ADO). LIC is one of India’s largest insurance companies. Life insurance corporation released the official notification on their website https://www.licindia.in/. LIC ADO 2023 Notification was released in 8 different zones in India. The list of 8 LIC ADO zones is given below.

2. About LIC ADO 2023 Exam Pattern

The LIC ADO 2023 Exam is conducted in three stages i.e. Prelims, Mains, and Interviews.

2.1 Preliminary examination:

LIC ADO 2023 preliminary exam is conducted online. The LIC ADO prelims exam has three sections and each section has separate timings. No negative marking is there in the Prelims exam. 

Note: The marks in English are not counted for ranking therefore the total marks are 70 for the LIC ADO Preliminary exam.

5.1 Online application process

LIC ADO 2023 online application process is given below.

• A candidate must visit the official website of LIC. and read the official notification of LIC ADO 2023.
• Click on ‘‘New Registration” and provide your details in the application form.
• Fill out the application form and submit the Application. Registration Id and Password will be sent to the candidate via mail. 
•  Make the payment for the application fee.  
• Scan and upload the documents as per specifications i.e. Handwritten declaration photograph, left thumb, and signature.
• Download and Make a hard copy of your application.

6.1 Educational Qualification 

For applying to the LIC ADO 2023 post a candidate must hold a Graduation or Degree from a recognized university.

8. LIC ADO Selection Procedure

The selection process for LIC ADO 2023 consists of 4 stages which are mentioned below.

Stage 1: Preliminary examination is the first stage for shortlisting candidates for LIC ADO. The candidates are shortlisted on the basis of 20 times the number of vacancies based on the category of the candidates. No negative marking system is implemented. There are 100 questions for a 1-hour duration in the prelims exam.  

Stage 2: Mains examination is conducted online. It is conducted for 160 marks for 2 hours duration. There is only a single phase  exam for different category posts such as:-

• LIC Agents & LIC Employees, 
• LIC Agents 
• For LIC Employees 

Stage 3: The interview is conducted only for shortlisted candidates from the main exam. The total mark for the interview is 40. 

Stage 4: Pre-medical examination is the last stage of LIC ADO 2023. The shortlisted candidates are called for a pre-medical exam.

A candidate who is preparing for the LIC ADO exam must prepare a strategy before the exam. LIC ADO has two exams, Prelims and Mains so, a candidate must focus on the Main oriented preparation. Here are some preparation tips for the LIC ADO exam.

The admit card is released a few days before Prelims and Mains exam. The date and venue of the exam are given on the admit card of a candidate. A call letter for an interview will be given to the shortlisted candidates. A call letter can be sent to the registered mail id of a candidate.

20. LIC ADO Interview Process

The shortlisted candidates are called for an interview. LIC ADO Interview contains 40 marks. If two candidates will get the same marks then marks for Mains and interview will be considered. After the interview process, the final list of candidates was prepared then the shortlisted candidates from the interview process were sent for document verification and medical test.  The call letter for the Interview is out on 02 June.
