SBI Apprentice 2023 was released on 31st August 2023. The State Bank of India released its last notification with 6160 apprentice vacancies in 2023. 2. About SBI Apprentice 2023 Exam

The State Bank of India is conducting the SBI Apprentice exam for the year 2023. The SBI conducts the online exam in a specific language opted by the candidate i.e. either Hindi or English. The SBI Apprentice 2023 Exam is conducted in two phases -an online written test and (ii) a test of the local language.

2.1 Online written test: 

The Online written  Examination consists of four papers, namely General/Financial Awareness, General English, Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude, and Quantitative Aptitude.  SBI Preliminary exam is conducted online and candidates can opt for their preferred language for the exam. There will be a negative marking scheme. A 1/4 mark is deducted from every wrong answer.

2.2 Test of the local language

This is the second part of the qualifying exam for SBI Apprentice. Candidates seeking positions in a given state must be fluent in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding in one of the listed local languages of that state.

A candidate must fulfil the eligibility criteria before applying for the SBI Apprentice. The eligibility criteria for SBI Apprentice depend on the following criteria.

6.1 Educational Qualification

SBI Apprentice 2023 eligibility education qualification is that the candidate must hold a Graduation or Degree or equivalent from a recognized institute.

6.2 Age Limit

The age limit of SBI Apprentice candidates must be 20 to 28 years. A candidate must not be below 20 years and for those who are above the age of 28 years age relaxation is given.

8. SBI Apprentice Selection Procedure

8.1 Online written test

SBI Apprentice 2023 Selection Procedure is based on an Online written test and a test of the local language. The State Bank of India (SBI) has published the notification, which can be found on SBI official website. An online written exam administered by the State Bank of India will be the basis for the SBI Apprentice 2023 selection process.

8.2 Test of the local language

This is an important step in the selection procedure proceeding with the medical exam. Candidates have to clear this stage of the exam by being fluent in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding. This exam will be held After successfully passing the online written test. Candidates who do not pass this test will not be considered for the apprentice position. Candidates who present a mark sheet or certificate from their 10th or 12th grade showing that they studied the designated, chosen local language are exempt from taking the language test. 

8.3. Medical Examination 

Apprentices who have been chosen must produce a medical fitness certification from a doctor in accordance with the Bank’s requirements before being hired. Only After the Bank’s standards for physical fitness and successfully completing KYE procedures, he/she will be selected for an apprenticeship.

• Candidates for SBI Apprentice frequently believe that this is a permanent position; however, SBI Apprentice is not a position with the Bank. 
• There is no assurance for full-time employment with the bank, but preference will be given to candidates who are currently enrolled in an SBI apprenticeship with the bank.
•   The applicants who are supposed to prepare for other competitive tests by working as an apprentice may not be able to handle both as they have to spend the whole of their working hours at the bank and occasionally they may even have to work beyond their normal working hours.
