RPF Constable Recruitment 2023 – Exam Date, Vacancy, Notification

1. RRB RPF 2023 Notification

The Railway Recruitment Board will announce the RRB RPF 2023 notification on their official website https://indianrailways.gov.in/ . RRB RPF( Railway Protection Force) 2023 examination is conducted all over India to select the candidates for the constable and sub-inspector posts. As per RRB RPF 2018 notification there are 9739 vacancies. Both Males and Females can apply for the RRB RPF post. 2. About RRB RPF 2023 Exam

RRB RPF 2023 exam notification is yet to be released. RRB RPF 2023 examination is conducted online. RRB RPF selection process contains 4 stages and the complete exam pattern is given below,

2.1 CBT (Computer-based exam)

A candidate can opt for any medium for examination. RRB RPF CBT exam contains three subjects which are mentioned below,

Note: There is a penalty for wrong answers. 1/3 mark is subtracted for a wrong answer and no mark will be subtracted for an un-attempted question. 

2.2 PET (Physical Efficiency Test) and PMT (Physical measurement test)

Candidates who are applying for the RRB RPF exam should refer to the full notification first to understand the exam syllabus and marking scheme. A candidate must visit the official website of RRB  IndianRailway(indianrailways.gov.in). 

5.1 Online application process

• Download the notification and read the eligibility criteria before applying.
• Click on the online application link for RRB Constable and Sub-inspector posts. Enter the basic details such as name, DOB, Mothers’s name, father’s name, etc. Submit the details.
• Select the Photo tab and upload the photo According to the specifications.
• After submitting the application form registration ID and password will be generated.
• The application details are directed to the payment gateway. The payment must be done online/ offline mode. 
• Download the application form for future reference.

Before applying for the RRB RPF posts a candidate must see the eligibility criteria which are given below

6.1 Educational qualifications

• 10th, 12th or any graduation from a recognized institute are eligible for RRB RPF (Railway Protection Force)
•  RRB RPF Sub Inspectors are required to have a graduate degree from an accredited university.

6.2 Age limit

The age limit For constables is 18 to 25 years and for Sub-Constable 20 to 25 years. Upper age limit candidates are given age relaxation which is given below,

8. RRB RPF Selection Procedure

RRB RPF 2023 notification will be released on the official website of RRB. The selection procedure of RRB RPF contains 4 stages mentioned below,

1. CBT (Computer-based one):  It contains 120 questions for 1 hour and 30 minutes. A candidate can select a medium of language. All the detailed instructions will be given in the E-call letter, minimum qualifying mark for general category candidates is 35%, and for SC/ST is 30%.  
2. PET( Physical efficiency test) and PMT (Physical Measurement Test): Based on the score obtained in the computer-based test the candidates are called for PET and PMT. This stage is qualifying in nature. 

Document verification 

This is the last stage for the RRB RPF exam. The selected candidates are called for Document verification and the selected candidate should produce a NOC certificate. All the Important documents which are mentioned at the time of the application process should be submitted for document verification. After that final posting will be given.

12. RRB RPF 2023 Salary Structure

The salary for the constable will be between Rs 26,000 to Rs 35,400/- per month. The salary structure is divided into Class X, Class Y, and Class Z according to their population.

Class X – Generally it contains those cities which have more than 50 lakhs population in metropolis cities.

Class Y- Generally it contains those cities which have a population between 5 to 50 lakhs in metropolis cities and other big cities.

Class Z-Generally contains those cities which are having below 5 lakhs population in small cities and villages.

14. RRB RPF Preparation Tips 2023

A candidate must prepare himself/herself before giving the exam. RRB Railway protection force is one of the prestigious exams which is conducted by the Railway recruitment board for the Constable and SI posts. Here are some important tips for preparing for the RRB RPF exam.

• A candidate must prepare the roadmap of the RPF exam which must contain the exam pattern, syllabus, previous year papers, etc. 
• A candidate must prepare a study plan according to his/her schedule. A study plan must include understanding the concepts and revision.

15. RRB RPF 2023 Admit Card & Call Letter

The RRB RPF 2023 Admit card and e-call letter will be issued 10 days prior to the exam (CBT/PET/PMT/document verification). E-call letter will be sent to the eligible candidates via mail or SMS. A candidate can download the E- call letter and read the instructions carefully written in the E-call letter. A candidate must bring identity proof along with a photograph before going to the exam. 

16. RRB RPF CBT 2023 Result

The  RRB RPF 2023 Computer-based test (CBT) results will be announced a few days after the RRB RPF exam. The results will be announced on the official website of RRB Indian Railway (indianrailways.gov.in).

17. RRB RPF 2023 Physical efficiency test/Physical measurement test

After RRB RPF CBT exam eligible and shortlisting candidates are called for the Physical efficiency test and physical measurement test. Suitable candidates are selected for the RRB constable and SI posts.
