IBPS SO 2023-2024 Final Results Out
The IBPS announced the IBPS SO Final Result 2024 on April 1, 2024, for the candidates who participated in the IBPS SO Interview. The official website of the Indian Board of Secondary Education (IBSE), @ibps.in, has released the result and merit list for the 1402 positions of Specialist Officer. Individuals who participated in the IBPS SO Interview have the opportunity to access their final results. The IBPS SO Final Result 2024 has been announced by officials to allocate provisional positions to applicants for Agriculture Field Officer, Marketing Officer (Scale I), HR/Personnel Officer (Scale I), IT Officer (Scale I), Law Officer (Scale I) and Rajbhasha Adhikari (Scale I). 1. IBPS SO 2023 Notification
IBPS SO 2023 notification was released on 31st July 2023. IBPS SO 2023 Notification is released for an exam for special cadre officers or otherwise known as Officer Scale I, organized and conducted by IBPS in coordination with the respective nodal bank for the vacancies reported from all the participating banks. The IBPS SO Recruitment also known as Common Recruitment Process is run by The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) for the past 13 years since 2011, hence termed as “CRP SPL-XIII for year 2023. This recruitment drive is conducted to find qualified applicants for the positions listed below:

2. About IBPS SO 2023 Exam
The exam pattern of IBPS SO 2023 Prelims and Mains is given below. Both Prelims and Mains exams are online and objective-type exams.
2.1 IBPS SO 2023 Prelims Exam Pattern
IBPS SO 2023 Prelims exam is conducted by IBPS to screen the applicants for the IBPS Mains exam. It mainly covers 3 subjects: English, Reasoning & Quantitative Aptitude(Q.A)/ Banking awareness depending on the post. Except for English, the other two subjects are available in English & Hindi languages.

IBPS SO 2023 has its own cut-off decided by IBPS and negative marking, each answered objective question has a negative score of 0.25 mark and no negative marks are awarded for unattempted questions. 5. IBPS SO 2023 Online Application & Fee
Step 1: To start the IBPS SO 2023 application process, first register on the IBPS official website @ibps.in.
Step 2: Enter your contact information (such as your name, email address, and mailing address). Then press the Next and Save keys.
Step 3: Include your academic background and professional credentials in this portion of your online application process. Click the save and next buttons once you’re finished.
Step 4: Upload the scanned copies of the following documents during registration
- Photograph (4.5cm × 3.5cm),
- Signature (No Block Letters)
- Left thumbprint or Right thumbprint (if the left thumb is not an option) or any left-hand fingerprint starting from the index finger (if both thumbs are not an option).
- A hand-written declaration in English(No BLock Letters) in the applicant’s handwriting
Step 5: The application fee can be paid using online payment options such as a credit card/debit card/Netbanking. Then press the submit button to complete the application process
Step 6: Your registration ID and password will be issued to you by IBPS via registered email and text message so that you may access the official website to check the results in the future.

6. IBPS SO 2023 Eligibility Criteria
The IBPS SO eligibility requirements vary depending on the role for which candidates are selected via the IBPS SO 2023 Exam. A candidate must meet three requirements (citizenship, age restriction, and educational requirement) to be eligible for the IBPS SO 2023 Exam. Candidates may only apply for one position. Multiple applications will be summarily rejected.
6.1 Nationality
The eligible candidate for the IBPS SO 2023 Exam should be
- an Indian citizen
- A subject of Nepal/Bhutan
- A Tibetan refugee from before 1st January 1962.
- A person migrated from Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Burma, Zaire, Zambia, Malawi, Ethiopia Vietnam, and the East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, and the United Republic of Tanzania to settle permanently in India with a certificate issued by the Indian government.
6.2 Age Limit
Candidates are only eligible for IBPS SO 2023 Exam within the age limit: Minimum of 20 to Maximum of 30 years by the time of the IBPS SO 2023 Notification release date. But the age relaxation policy applies for some categories, Ex-servicemen, and PWBD candidates.

6.3 Educational Qualification
IBPS SO 2023 Notification is for Special cadre officers or Officer Scale-I. The minimum educational qualification to be eligible for IBPS SO 2023 is Graduation or an equivalent degree from a recognized university or board of graduation. But the specific educational requirement for each officer depends on the role of that specific post.

CREDIT HISTORY:
The candidate applying must have a clean credit history and a CIBIL score of 650 or above at the time of joining one of the participating banks. The minimum credit score will be determined by participating banks’ policies, which may be altered from time to time.
Candidates who do not have a bank account will not be needed to provide their CIBIL status. The CIBIL Score requirement is not necessary for applying.

8. IBPS SO Selection Procedure
IBPS SO 2023 Online Exam selection process is in four stages: Prelims, Mains, and Interview and Provisional Allotment. These four stages of the selection procedure for IBPS SO 2023 (CRP SPL-XII) screen the applicants’ layer by layer to decide the final merit list.
8.1 Prelims Exam:
IBPS SO Prelims 2023 Exam is a screening test that all the applicants of the exam must qualify to get shortlisted for the next round. This is mainly an online exam with multiple-choice questions. People attending the IBPS SO Prelims Exam Center must bring:
- Valid Call letter of Prelims Exam
- Copy of Photo id proof
- Photo Id Proof (Original)
Candidates need not submit any documents but get photocopies of the Prelims call letter and Id proof signed and stamped in the prelims exam center. These copies are needed for verification for Mains exam hall entry.
8.2 Mains Exam:
IBPS SO 2023 Mains exam is the main validating exam for the special officer cadre post. This score carries a major weightage of 80% in the final merit list preparation. IBPS SO 2023 exam mainly tests the professional knowledge of the applicant. Applicants must bring the below list of documents with them for verification before entering the Mains exam center:
- A valid copy of the Mains Exam Call letter
- Photo Id Proof (Original)
- Copies of the Prelims Exam call letter & Photo id proof, Stamped and Signed in the Prelims exam Center during the exam.
Qualifying for this exam enables the applicants for the interview round.
8.3 Interview:
The candidates that pass the online tests will thereafter be given further consideration for the interview. There are 100 total points awarded for the interview. The required minimum score to move on to the interview is 40% (35% for those who are SC/ST/OBC/PWBD). The weighting (ratio) of the interview and the online main examination will be 80:20, respectively. The applicant qualified for the interview should bring the necessary documents to the venue

8.4 Provisional Allotment:
The IBPS SO 2023 Final merit list and posting details are prepared based on the scores of IBPS SO 2023 Mains Exam and IBPS SO 2023 Interview, the total number of vacancies available, Normalised cut-off, and the preference of participating banks.
This is called provisional allotment because they are appointed on a provisional basis for a period of one year.
