2. About ECGC PO 2023 Exam
The Exam pattern of ECGC PO 2023 contains one exam and an interview. The Onlne exams contain two sections i.e. Objective test and descriptive test. A detailed description of the Objective test and Descriptive test is given below.

8. ECGC PO Selection Procedure
The ECGC PO 2023 notification is released on the official website of ECGC https://www.ecgc.in/. The selection procedure of ECPC PO contains two stages i.e.
8.1 Online examinations
- Objective paper: ECGC PO 2023 online examinations have two papers i.e. Objective test and a descriptive test. There will be a negative marking scheme for every wrong answer 0.25 mark is deducted. 2 hours and 20 minutes will be provided for the objective test.
- Descriptive test: Those who have qualified for objective tests called for descriptive tests. The qualifying cut-off will be decided by ECGC. The marks of the Descriptive .paper are counted as the final selection.
8.2 Interview
The candidates who are shortlisted in the online test are called for an interview. The interview venue and date will be communicated to the shortlisted candidates. The interview carries a total of 60 marks and the minimum qualifying marks for the general category is 40% and 35% for (SC/ST/ OBC/PwBD). The ratio of online examination and interview is 80:20. The overall marks in the online exam and Interview are also very important when it comes to the final selection process.
