6. RRB SSE 2023 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria of RRB SSE 2023 depend on the Age limit, educational qualification and nationality of candidates.
6.1 Educational qualification: A candidate must hold an engineering degree, a Minimum of 4 years of engineering degree in Civil Engineering/ Electrical/ Electronic Manufacturing/ Automotive engineering etc. The final year’s candidates are not eligible to apply for RRB SSE.
6.2 Age limit: The age limit should be between 20 to 34 years and the upper age limit candidates can avail of the age relaxation.

8. RRB SSE 2023 Selection Procedure
The selection procedure of RRB SSE contains 3 stages. RRB SSE contains a single-stage exam followed by document verification and a medical exam.
- Stage 1: Computer-based exam: The exam is conducted online and contains 5 different sections i.e. General awareness, General Intelligence, Reasoning, Arithmetic, and General Science and Technical Ability. The online exam contains 150 marks for 2 hours duration. It also contains a negative marking 1/3 mark is deducted for every wrong attempt. The online exam will be conducted in the local language of the state.
- Stage 2: Document verification: The shortlisted candidates are called for Document verification. Candidates must carry all the necessary documents like educational certificates, Date of birth certificates, caste certificates etc.
- Stage 3: Medical test: Candidates are tested whether they are physically fit or not.
