SSC has released the exam dates for the stenographer skill test and that is notified on its official website and the skill test is going to be conducted on the 3rd and 4th January of 2024.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued the final answer key for the 2023 Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ Exam. The final answer key can be downloaded from the official website ssc.nic.in. 1. SSC Stenographer 2023 Notification
The SSC Stenographer 2023 notification was released on 2nd August 2023 . SSC has released 1207 posts for stenographers. The online application link will be available from 2nd August to 23rd August. The online exam for SSC Stenographers is expected to be conducted in October 2023.

For the SSC Stenographer 2023 recruitment is for the positions of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ (Group ‘B’ Non-Gazetted) and Stenographer Grade ‘D’ (Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted), the Staff Selection Commission holds an All India Open Competitive Examination.There are two exam stages in SSC Stenographer which is given below.
2.1 Computer Based Test (CBT)
Computer-based tests will be divided into four sections: general intelligence and reasoning, general awareness, and English language and comprehension. Examination time is 2 hrs. The candidate has to complete 200 questions in the given time. While physically handicapped candidates will have 2 hrs 40 minutes. The following is the table of weightage of marks with different topics. For each incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted. In order to avoid negative marking candidates are advised to mark the answers correctly.

6.1Educational qualifications:
Candidates should be a graduate of a recognized university or institute. They should have studied English, Hindi, and Mathematics/Accounts at 10+2 level or equivalent with 50% marks in aggregate.

8. SSC Stenographer Selection Procedure
The SSC Stenographer Selection Procedure has various steps that need to be followed by the applicants. There will be more vacancies than last year for Stenographers Grade-I in various Ministries and Departments of the Government of India.
The Stenographer Selection procedure consists of two steps:
Stage 1: Computer-based test
Stage 2: Skill test.

Skill test is the second qualifying exam in the procedure for the position of stenographer grade “C” . Candidates will be required to transcribe one 10-minute dictation in either English or Hindi at a speed of 100 words per minute (w.p.m.) or 80 w.p.m. for the position of stenographer grade “D.
