The exam pattern of RRB JE CBT-I consists of four sections.

Note: 

  • There will be a negative marking in the RRB JE 2023 CBT-I Exam 1/3 Mark is deducted for every incorrect answer. 
  • The minimum qualifying marks in the RRB  JE CBT-I Exam are UR -40%, OBC-30%, SC-30%, and ST -25%. 
  • Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of 15 times the category-wise total vacancies for the RRB JE CBT-II.

  • RRB JE 2023 CBT-II exam Consists of negative marking 1/3  mark is deducted for every incorrect answer.
  • Minimum qualifying marks for the RRB JE 2023 CBT-II exam are UR -40%, OBC-30%, SC-30%, and ST -25%.

4. RRB JE 2023 Document Verification (DV)

The shortlisted candidates from the RRB JE CBT-II exam are called for document verification. Candidates must carry the below-mentioned documents during the time of RRB JE document verification.

  • Educational certificates like 10th , 12th and engineering/diploma
  • Caste certificates like SC/ST/OBC/EX-serviceman. 
  • NOC from providing service to employees on the appointed date.
  • NOC from Active Duty Military Personnel with Probable Discharge Date.
  • In the event of a formal change of name, as stated, a gazette notification and/or any legal document may be required.
  • Payments made via a challan at an SBI branch or a pay-in slip at a computerised post office will be acknowledged.
  • Domicile certificate for J & K. The Indian government has granted a certificate of eligibility.
  • Affidavit proving the candidate hasn’t remarried and a decree of divorce or legal separation from the appropriate court of law.
  • Proof for Ex-serviceman
