1. SSC Full Form

SSC Stands for Staff Selection Commission. It is governed by the government of India SSc is the main body for the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT).  SSC was established in 1975 and conducts the recruitment process for various Group-B and Group-C posts. The headquarters of SSC are in New Delhi, and the regional office of SSC is situated in Kolkata, Allahabad, Mumbai, Chennai, Guwahati, and Bangalore. 2. SSC Exam

SSC conducts exams in 13 different Indian languages. Here are some exams conducted for SSC 

• Combined Graduate Level Exam (CGL Exam)
• Stenographer Exam
• Combined Higher Secondary Level Exam (CHSL Exam)
• Central Police Organization Exam (CPO Exam)
• General Duty Exam for Constables (GD Exam)
• Junior Engineer Exam (JE Exam)
• Multitasking Staff Exam (MTS Exam)

2.1 SSC CGL:  SSC conducts the Combined graduate level (CGL) exam annually. The educational qualification for SSC CGL should be graduation from a recognised university. The SSC CGl exam is conducted for Group B and Group C. The list of Group B and Group C is given below.

2.2 SSC CHSL: Staff selection commission also recruits CHSL Combined Higher Secondary Level Exam. The following positions are significant for SSC CHSL recruitment:

• Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/ Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA)
• Data Entry Operator (DEO)
• Postal Assistant (PA)/ Sorting Assistant (SA)
• Data Entry Operator, Grade A
