Applications complete in all respect should be submitted ONLINE to the chosen Railway Recruitment Board .

Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT)
Only for candidates who have opted for Traffic Assistant and Station Master
The candidates need to secure a minimum T-Score of 42 marks in each of the test batteries to qualify
This is applicable to all candidates irrespective of community or category and no relaxation in the minimum T- Score is permissible
Candidates will have to qualify in each of the test batteries of CBAT for considering them for the post of SM/TA.
The CBAT shall have questions and answer options only in English and Hindi.
There shall be no negative marking in CBAT.
Merit list will be drawn only from amongst the candidates qualifying in the CBAT, with 70% weightage for the marks obtained in the 2nd Stage CBT and 30% weightage for the marks obtained in CBAT.
Typing Skill Test (TST)
For all candidates
This test will be conducted for the post of Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist, Senior Time Keeper, Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist and Junior Time Keeper, Typing Skill Test (TST) will be of qualifying nature (marks obtained in typing skill test shall not be added for making merit)
The Typing Test shall be conducted for which the number of candidates shall be equal to eight times the number of vacancies. Post this test a certain number of candidates will be filtered out for the next process
The candidates should have 30 words per minute (WPM) typing speed in English or 25 WPM in Hindi on Personal Computer only without editing tools and spell check facility.
Document Verification (DV)
For all candidates
Qualified candidates of 2nd Stage CBT and based on the performance of candidates in both 2nd Stage CBT and CBAT/TST (as applicable), will be called for Document Verification as per their merit and options.
In addition, candidates equal to 50% of the number of vacancies for various posts will also be called for document verification.

English Language: Spot the Error, Fill in the Blanks, Synonyms/ Homonyms, Antonyms, Spellings/ Detecting mis-spelt words, Idioms & Phrases, One word substitution, Improvement of Sentences, Active/ Passive Voice of Verbs, Conversion into Direct/ Indirect narration, Shuffling of Sentence parts, Shuffling of Sentences in a passage, Cloze Passage, Comprehension Passage
General Intelligence: It would include questions of both verbal and nonverbal type. The test will include questions on Semantic Analogy, Symbolic operations, Symbolic/ Number Analogy, Trends, Figural Analogy, Space Orientation, Semantic Classification, Venn Diagrams, Symbolic/ Number Classification, Drawing inferences, Figural Classification, Punched hole/ pattern-folding & unfolding, Semantic Series, Figural Pattern-folding and completion, Number Series, Embedded figures, Figural Series, Critical Thinking, Problem Solving, Emotional Intelligence, Word Building, Social Intelligence, Coding and decoding, Other subtopics, if any Numerical operations.

General Awareness: Questions are designed to test the candidate’s general awareness of the environment around him and its application to society. RRB NTPC Age Limit

RRB NTPC Nationality
RRB NTPC Eligibility Criteria as per Nationality mandates a candidate to be a resident of the prescribed states only. Candidates belonging to these states will be eligible to apply for RRB NTPC. An applicant must fulfill any one of the following conditions:
- A citizen of India
- A citizen of Nepal
- A citizen of Bhutan
- A Tibetan refugee settled in India before 1st January 1962
- Indian by origin, who has migrated Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of staying permanently in India.
