6. RBI Assistant 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for RBI Assistant 2023 are given below.

  • Educational Qualification: 

Bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks for general category candidates and for SC/ST/PwBD candidates minimum pass percentage is required. Basic computer knowledge is also required. 

  • Age limit:

8. RBI Assistant 2023 Selection Procedure

The RBI Assistant 2023 notification was released on 13th September on the official website of RBI. Candidates must have to register themselves. The online application starts from 13th September to 4th October 2023. The selection procedure for RBI Assistant 2023 contains three stages mentioned below.

Stage 1: Preliminary exam

The RBI Assistant 2023 Prelims exam is conducted in both Hindi and English. The exam pattern contains 100 questions for a 1-hour duration. Negative marking will be implemented. 1/4  mark is deducted for every incorrect answer. Candidates who have qualified in the preliminary exam are called for the main exam.   

Stage  2: Mains exam

The RBI Assistant 2023 mains exam is also conducted in both English and Hindi. The exam pattern of the Mains exam contains 200 questions for 2 hours and 15 minutes duration. Negative marking will be implemented in the mains exam 1/4 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer. A candidate who has qualified in the Mains exam is called for a Language proficiency test. 

Stage 3: Language proficiency test

This test is conducted in the official or local language of a candidate and a candidate who is not proficient in their local language is disqualified.
