A candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree with an aggregate of 50% and above in any discipline to be eligible for the RBI Assistant Exam 2020.

RBI Assistant Age Limit

RBI offers a provision of age relaxation for candidates from all reserved categories. Candidates must keep in mind the RBI Age Limit before filling the application form. Relaxation of the upper age limit for the various categories is shown in the table below.

RBI Assistant Nationality

RBI Assistant Eligibility Criteria as per Nationality mandates a candidate to be a resident of the prescribed states only.  Candidates belonging to these states will be eligible to apply for RBI Assistant. An applicant must fulfill any one of the following conditions:

  • A citizen of India
  • A citizen of Nepal
  • A citizen of Bhutan
  • A Tibetan refugee settled in India before 1st January 1962
  • Indian by origin, who has migrated Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of staying permanently in India.
