8. NIACL Assistant Selection Procedure
The selection process for NIACL Assistant consists of four stages which is mentioned below:
Stage 1 Prelims exam: It is an objective test that contains three sections: Reasoning, English and Numerical ability. Which is conducted in both Hindi and English except for the English sections. Candidates need to qualify for each section in order to qualify for the prelims exam.
Stage 2 Mains exam: It is also an objective test that contains five sections i.e. Reasoning, English, General awareness, Computer knowledge and Numerical ability. 1/4 mark is deducted for each wrong answer. There will be no sectional cut-off marks only total cut-off marks will be considered to qualify for the next selection process.
Stage 3: Language proficiency test: It is qualifying in nature, The shortlisted candidates from the Mains exam are called for a language proficiency test. The exam centres, Date and Venue will be informed to the shortlisted candidates for the language proficiency test.
Stage 4: Medical test: The last stage of NIACL Assistant is the Medical fitness test. The basic eyesight and medical background of a selected candidate are tested.
